“A wonderful stay from start to finish. The rooms were beautifully appointed and full of character, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere. The people who run La Locanda were exceptionally charming, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel at home throughout our stay. Both dinner and breakfast were outstanding, showcasing excellent local cuisine and hospitality. Highly recommended.”
“This was our third time staying at the inn, and we had a wonderful visit. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The meals were AWESOME - delicious local plates. It’s always fun to try something new to eat, and we are never disappointed. The location provided an excellent base to explore neighboring towns and again take advantage of the beautiful Gran Sasso National Park. Castel del Monte itself is a lovely village to explore on foot - you feel connected to the rich history at every turn. The icing on the cake is the family that runs the inn - they are so friendly and accommodating and go above and beyond to make your stay everything you want it to be. I cannot recommend this place higher if you are wanting to step into the Italian countryside to see all that this area has to offer.”
